| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Well that was it, an end to an amazing arc! Zorc was killed and Dark Bakura lost. Yugi and his friends all survived!  This also marks the end to the first part of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga, and boy what a part it was! I loved it! It was mature, realistic enough, the premise was unique and really amazing, everything was handled with utmost care, most of the games were original or had a really unique take on them, all the main characters were filled with depth and development, and the friendship bits did not feel forced at all, in fact it managed to pull it off superbly well! A really crazy ride that is for sure. I will kinda miss it, but we have to move on ... Next stop, the one most are familiar with in the west; Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist! Where the card games become the main staple of the series! |
| Well that was a fantastic end to the Monster world arc, I was really invested in this board game. Now, the next part Duelist starts. Let's see if it's better or not. |

| Oh, Yuugi's first time seeing Yami in his body from another perspective! Cute. And they can talk telepathically! Yami getting all happy when everyone stands back up after nearly dying. <3 Bakura really is the sweetest, I hope he stays a regular member of their group from now on... And what will happen to the Millennium ring? I really enjoyed this story. |
