What the heck?! Not only were the fights super-short again but what about those "deaths"? Hope they're metaphorical.

The famous greek myths were well used to support each bout though. (those chapters must have been very popular for Kurumada to reuse the same ideas for St Seiya, the series he created for commercial success)

Whaaaat?!?! Shinatora, Kawai, and Ishimatsu won their fights, but at the cost of their lives?! 😭 Those matches were intense and absolutely epic. Even though they were fairly short, so much happened in each one - including those dramatic, kinda max-power versions of their already ultimate techniques... Attacks so strong that they can take their users' lifes. :(

Kiku's fever was really high, but even that didn't stop her from coming to the final round in person and bringing the banner that finally united the whole team...

One episode left. I like this part of the World Tournament. In the anime form it feels like watching Saint Seiya mixed with boxing, haha. Since Ring ni Kakero is older than Saint Seiya, it's nice to see how some of those ideas that can be summed up as basically "mythology intertwining real world directly" carried over to the next big manga hit by Masami Kurumada (Saint Seiya), just in a more refined and polished form.
