----------------------------------------
This chapter confirmed two things. Firstly, despite us not seeing it in detail, Toraikai are no longer backing Taki, he said he can’t use them. Next, we saw the seeming coincidence of the police cracking down on its corruption. Sunako suggested the cycle of corruption will never end and it’ll be back in half a year, but as soon as he went inside it was more severe than he expected. Realizing that he was being taken down along with that charming narration about corrupt people experiencing danger, we had a great moment where he broke down. He was trying to tear down everyone that was in on it with him, “YOU, YOU, YOU, YOU!”. I loved that full page of Sunako sinking in that he had lost, understanding for once the weight of his crimes. The police and the Toraikai are cut. The iron triangle is now just the Wizards. However, despite the triangle being cut, the final dirty job Sunako was able to do was get Taki a gun by the looks of it. That is intimidating as all hell. We’ve seen how he hollows out hands or throws darts at his allies, we’ve seen him beat Haneman like it was all business. A man that cruel, on his last legs, with a gun to take everything into his own hands is not something we want to see.

The end of this chapter blew me away. Yousuke is the link that could tear Hayama and maybe Mako down, and unfortunately Tatsuhiko went to Hayama for the news that he found him. A part of me was hoping that this was a trick of some sort, that Tatsuhiko knew Hayama’s involvement, but I don't think that could be possible. Alice didn't know who Yousuke was, no way she knows Hayama. So no part of me really thinks that this is a trick. Instead, it feels like Tatsuhiko is going to the guy Yousuke looked up to, whose known him the best, to end this Hideyoshi thing once and for all. To bring Hayama along is frightening, but I’m excited for what happens nonetheless. Ever since the vacation I began to like this duo a lot. I hope this leads to understanding Hayama and Yousuke’s relationship more, Hayama has been ruthless so far and I wonder what Yousuke saw in him. This could also definitely lead to everything finally coming out, how Taki got his hands on Yousuke and how Yousuke was set up into killing Hideyoshi, and how Yousuke’s drug addiction and personality disorder got started. The pieces are all there but the connecting dots aren’t. We mustn't underestimate Hayama either, he’s quick at snatching up opportunities to play into his hand, I’m curious what his plan is going into this.
