Seems some characters in these recent chapters have mental struggles with themselves.

I like how we often look at the morality of the entire curse and jujutsu world through the eyes of numerous characters.. Makes it more diverse and enables you to see it through different perspectives that I wouldn't have even considered otherwise.

I can see why Geto switches sides now.

One thing I like about Geto here is that it's not really a triggering event that turns him. Of course, that one incident is important, seeing all those smiling people clapping at the poor dead girl is certainly sickening, but it's not something that immediately brought Geto into his mental state. His staunch principles as a Jujutsu Sorcerer helped set him up for failure to an extent, but more so it seemed the separation from Gojo and his others hurt too. The nature of it going from "We're the strongest" to "Gojo's the strongest", and Ieiri not taking dangerous mission, Geto is alone with nothing but the curses his consumes for his power. And so much of just experiencing that with that memory in his mind is starting to weigh too much on him. His transition is going much more naturally than I honestly expected.

So this is the aftermath of Riko’s death, but everyone is thankful that Gojo was able to destroy all the curses, most of the vessel association and man Gojo’s mindset is going way too far killing these non-shaman and also glad that Geto is doing alright, the beach vacation with caretaker was definitely a fast recovery xD. A one year timeskip, Gojo’s technique is like a game of practicing your aim and states about the chemistry and physic behind his technique to help him respond very quick when catching and such. The Reverse Technique is getting very interesting, not only it can respond quick, it can recharge your brain! Gojo definitely has a huge advantage in that he knows how to experiment this very special technique that I’d think no one would be able to get. I have a feeling Geto is about to leave him be or something? Since Gojo has gotten a lot stronger and it would be obligated for him to do more mission he can take care of his own. Haibara is here and he’s about to accomplish a mission while Geto is just questioning his whole existence I guess. But anyhow, Todo’s master is here questioning about ya girl’s type xD

And so, something happened inside Getou something changed, and the monkeys he once fought for started to look disgusting to him.
I'm glad Getou's past was shown light this way, I'm sure his plans will reveal more in the future.

This chapter shifts the entire tone of the arc, and honestly, it’s one of the most important turning points in the series. After Riko’s death, we finally see the emotional fallout—and it hits hard. Suguru arriving to find Gojo standing there with Riko’s body, surrounded by cheering non‑sorcerers, is one of the most chilling scenes in the Premature Death arc.

Gojo’s transformation is immediate and unsettling. The way he casually asks Suguru if he ever feels like killing the people celebrating around them… that’s not the same Satoru we’ve known up to this point. He’s detached, numb, and dangerously close to crossing a line.

But what really stands out is Suguru’s reaction. You can see the conflict brewing inside him—rage, grief, disgust—but he still tries to hold onto the ideals they were taught. He reminds Gojo that sorcerers need conviction and restraint, even when the world feels cruel and unfair. It’s such a subtle but powerful moment, because you can already feel the cracks forming in his worldview.

This chapter plants the earliest seeds of Suguru’s eventual downfall, and watching the rift between him and Gojo begin here is heartbreaking in hindsight. The emotional weight, the moral tension, the shift in their dynamic—it all sets the stage for everything that comes later.

Amazing chapter, and one that hits even harder on reread.
