She's been living in the streets for god knows how long.

What if she had been attacked by muggers or forced into child prostitution?

She mentioned at some point that she was quicky snatched up by the Commonwealth, and I believe there's an element of truth to that. She likely still had to go through a lot, but not anything that would leave her heavily traumatized.
