| That was a very nice first episode. I never thought about Pikachu before he met Ash, Pikachu as a Pichu was a nice addition. |

Yes you can, Each season of Pokemon starts frech, they do sometimes have cameo episodes where they feature past pokemon/characters but thats somthing very minor you miss out on. | Well, after years of not following the main serie, here I'm, back for this one, hopefully won't be too much of a problem not knowing most of the pokemon from the last two generations. |

| Little Satoshi was so cute! A pity he overslept and missed the Pokémon Camp, he was so excited too. But he didn't learn anything, and overslept again on that fateful day. lol Well, at least that allowed him to meet Pikachu. Who was also really cute as a Pichu. I loved to see that part of his life, he was so happy with that Garura family that he evolved. Gou and Koharu were cool too, I loved that mischievous Mew, and I wonder if Gou will ever get to catch him like he wants. Welp, I loved this new beginning, can't wait for more! Oh, and the OP is great! |

| More than 20 years to tell Pikachu's past, and it was really nice, the OP also liked me a lot. Overall a very good first episode, although I already miss S&M, the next episode will be the beginning of the true new adventure :)... |

| didnt think we get the Pikachu origin story off the bat but its a nice way to start things. they really love the goodbye while sleeping bits...and it works everytime! i low-key was hoping this Summer Camp was the one with Serena in it (idk why everybody commenting are suggesting this is the camp Serena was supposedly in when Ash didnt even show up and overslept for this one, whereas he did show up for the one with Serena) idk how i feel about Go yet that Gameboy startup sound to transition to the OP was a great touch |

But he's clearly drawn and written to look, act, and be older (as were all characters last season) so it doesn't really matter what they say. | I liked the first episode. The adventure Pichu/Pikachu had with Kangaskhan and the baby was so fun to watch. It was funny that Ash got so excited about the camp that he probably dreamt of all the Pokémon he was going to see, just like when he got Pikachu for the first time. I guess old habits die hard, especially with Ash, lol. Does anyone know the name of Gou's girlfriend, I missed it. | I dont understand these people. Do you really think that in all Ash's childhood Professor Oak (or another professor) decided to just make ONE camp? He probably met Serena in another, thats simple. Btw, 9/10 episode. I just love it. |

| not only do they have yamashita daiki but nakamura yuuichi and hanazawa kana voicing the new characters. this season is STACKED. i'm enjoying it so far! |
