| In my opinion, it is one of the best shounens out there, with entertaining fights, good characters, fun comedy scenes (though it gets a bit out of hand later), truly surprising plot twists, a wonderful art, and a decent pacing (the anime is slower, but we are talking about the manga here). I personally never got bored reading it. That being said, if you decide to read the manga, prepare to wait for a lifetime for the series to end (since the manga gets updated every 3 months) and to read every chapter once you reach to the last one, as the current arc is confusing as heck. |

NerdySlothLord_ said: Around what volume does the story decline? i don't know at which volume the current arc starts but IMO the art and the story got much better. the problem is that there are - by design of this arc - many open questions (since it's still ongoing) and that the release schedule is quarterly so it's easy to forget many plot points etc. the easiest comparison is probably the boat arc in berserk. as someone who started reading berserk very late i didn't even know the meme but most of the long time berserk readers had to wait many years until they left the boat. |
