I'm most of the way through this first season, and although the quirky humour and characters have really endeared themselves to me, I can't help but wonder if there's going to be real plot progression in later seasons/parts (anime in particular, not the manga). I really do like some of the characters and interactions, but it would be a lot more engaging if they weren't just one-off, and real depth was explored later in the series. I like the comedy, but I just want to know if it's too much to expect substantial themes and developments in this moving forward. In particular, I'm wondering if some of the characters' "problems" and eccentricities are addressed in later parts of the anime (anime specifically, please, otherwise I'll just swap over to the manga).

Actually there's a plot, but the plot is flooded by daily. If you wants to see the ending of "main plot", consider finish the 3 seasons of SZS and read the manga staring on 290 till the end. (not gonna spoil, despite there's a lot of spoiler outside)
