It is always strange when they make up some ailments that befall characters.
And they should be looking for the next hospital instead of driving around for 10 days, staying at inns and having a doctor visit every now and then.
Or perhaps see if they can stay at a church? They should be able to get at least some help from someone.

Then they get some money, but instead of taking the time to let the mother recover, they decide to move on no matter what.
After watching a few of the other WMT shows, I am afraid I know where this will lead to.

And when the drama starts, they turn the dial right up to 100%.

wow what a great episode showing how far the mom and daughter will sacrifice for each other. and the tears, selling the ring, and everything was done well

i don't have a good feeling about the mother's illness
