I've seen quite a few predictions it will get a season 2 announced quickly. Silver Link also did Bofuri and Hamefura and both got season 2s announced shortly after they finished airing, so I feel this has a pretty decent shot at getting a second season announced after the last episode airs.

At least that's what gets me through the nights

I'm hoping for a second season as well, and based on the current rate of story development, I'm sure there will be. Otherwise.... it's going to be one hell of a cliffhanger.

The chances are high. The last 2 animes of silver link gets 2nd season and by far this is the most pop of the 3.

no stop it, because the anime project started the author didn't have enough time to update the wn and if we compare how worth between the wn and the anime then most of real people will said read the wn is 100x more worth than the anime

I hope the announcement ends being a second season. Among the typical light novels featuring an overpowered protagonist in a magic school, this has to be one of the ones I enjoyed the most.
