well, the author itself create this to counter most of OP development that didn't want to explore their own setting. as long as i know, most of author that create OP development didn't even to try to explore their own setting because they are too lazy to do it. in this series, the author use "reincarnation" as main theme but it didn't stop in there because he will make anos to explore the truth about how reincarnation work for us rather than just show cliche of youth scene
sadly the anime didn't express it properly because this series basically work same like toaru and dies irae where it is impossible to understand the setting just by seeing the anime
btw if we talk about how omnipotent is anos, he is the real omnipotent in every omnipotent character because
1. you stab his heart but his life force still make him survive from it
2. you stop and accelerate his time more than million years to reduce his life force until zero but he will resurrect himself just by use his root only
3. you annihilate his root with holy sword that can kill him to make sure he is not resurrect and die completely but he will resurrect his root with "new magic" that are he just create right after he enter reincarnation
4. you cut off his head to separated it completely from his body but later know his head and his body act separately like how "right hand and left hand work"
5. you limited his future to make sure whatever action he will take will enter to calculated future but only know he just manifest the incarnation of destruction to see if calculated future can stand with it
6. he create a sword that are impossible to created and used it where it work with "can omnipotent create a task that can't be solved by anyone include omnipotent" logic
7. he can bring a moment of destruction completely to a specific law from nature law, phenomenon or even concept
8. 7 steps and he can make the world almost annihilated completely, the presume is the world have been protected by 3 barrier with mythology class magic completely with perfect intensity and anos's destruction magic level still in "growing state"
9. he learn and understand a new magic more fast than anyone then reach the deepest part of that magic's abyss with same level from the user or even more than the user, like the manifestation of "learn & growth endlessly" concept
