----------------------------------------
This chapter felt full of heavy interactions. Of course, we started with confronting the rep about Seera and being told that his opinion didn't matter until he carried his own weight, something not unfamiliar. But obviously the real kicker was with Uzuki.

Akemi's column Uzuki, continuing a theme of exploring the values of each top host and their column, made for thought-provoking content. The pages in which she asked if Tatsuhiko would sacrifice himself for somebody he cherished and respected were intense! Compositionally and narratively. My mind flashed through to the people he's tried to sacrifice himself for in the past, he is not new to putting his life on the line for other people. But specifically using the language of cherish and respect; it made me think of Mako. It was in the Yamikin arc where Tatsuhiko referred to him as the man he respects most iirc. Which, with the ending of the chapter, doesn't feel unintentional. It is then interesting when we see his intense response in these conflicting times.

This transitioned into two other intense moments. Akemi showcased a pretty edgy outburst where he threatened Tatsuhiko's life, shattering a mirror like Hayama. It reminded me of early Shinjuku Swan where the expressions could be quite exaggerated. That and the most exciting part for long time readers, tying together Uzuki and Mako. Burst is back in the picture! Last arc was Seki's, so this could be huge for Mako. It's not common we see Mako in such a vulnerable and intimate position, in fact this is a first. And his girl has asked a question many of us have probably been asking since the beginning, Mako's confusing plans for Tatsuhiko.
