| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- It took me a while to get into this series but I'm glad I was finally able to read the ending. I daresay it's better than Busou Renkin. It wasn't until Elm and Ashuhit showed up and teamed up with Fury and co. that I really started to enjoy each chapter. After more characters were introduced, each with their own motives of curing/destroying/researching Frankenstein the series got more interesting. Fury got more likeable since he wasn't just about plain revenge. I figured Frankensteins would never be able to become human again so either Fury would hold off killing Elm forever or he would die by the end of the series. And for his end, it was fitting. Fury's fury has been calmed. He even has the cheek to pass the torch on to John Doe! Ashuhit's also made peace with his past. He knows Elm won't ever return and he's content to spend his time making Elm happy. It will be a day for rain when Elm bids Ashuhit "Good night!" one last time. And now it's up to Frankenstein and his bride i.e John Doe and Dr. Peaberry to clean up the remnants of the Polar Route. |

| I was kind of hoping that Fury would live on for Violet's sake. He and John Doe were my favorites. So, when all the Frankensteins have been killed will Dr. Peaberry kill John, or will John just self-destruct? It feels like I've been reading this for 10 years. |
