| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I understood that going into the host side of the story would be profitable so to speak. It's a major part of the circle of the nightlife bis, overlay between scouting and hosts isn't uncommon. But I was not expecting this Marineford type meeting of all the huge parties! Haraki made me shout in celebration upon seeing him, probably one of the only people who did that, but he's one of my favorite supporting characters in the manga. Finally that mysterious phone call of his begins to be answered as he is involved with these hosts, the rep, and Momozuka. But before getting to him, Shinya was present, the bad mannered host that was introduced within the first chapters and had a deep tie to Inukai(see Mako's Negotiations- chp 43). And of course we also have Shirokane. Minerva, major hosts, former loan sharks, so many people that Tatsuhiko has a meaningful relationship towards have all met together to deal with this recurrent mention of police pressure. Every time I turned the page it got crazier, and to call back to my first paragraph, while also pursuing ideas of ambition and discontent, I can see how this arc could become huge and utterly important for the entire world of Shinjuku Swan. Bruh!!! Don't forget the brief appearance of Ara recently too, my man is still in the story. Of course there were two smaller moments which held immediate importance, Shinya's mention of Akemi killing someone, and the loan from Shirota following finally seeing his mean side. Is it just me or did he not look like it was easy for him? |
