Netflix Japan revealed the main staff and a character trailer for Biohazard: Infinite Darkness (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness) on Friday. The 3DCG anime series will debut worldwide on Netflix this July.

Film director Eiichirou Hasumi (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu live-action films, Over Drive live-action film) is helming the series at Quebico, a CG animation studio founded in 2017. Yuugo Kanno (Ajin, Psycho-Pass) is composing the music. TMS Entertainment is credited with production.

Toshiyuki Morikawa (Biohazard: Vendetta) and Yuuko Kaida (Biohazard: Degeneration) are reprising their roles as Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, respectively.

Here we go again... Netflix is trying to put their own definition of anime again. They are really generic Villains of anime community. Those capitalist won't sleep one night without making one garbage per season πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

... and mal will surely add it as an anime entry. what a drag 😬

I could be wrong but I think it's the wrong summary on MAL. This isn't the show about Wesker daughters... right? 🀭

Everyone involved in this production—excluding the English voice actors—is Japanese, and it is animated.

Sadly not, there'd be too many unknowns
Similar to FF7 Advent Children, not knowing anything about Final Fantasy 7 makes it confusing for newcomers

Agreed though, it looks gorgeous - after seeing the cutscenes in RE2 Remake, I really wanted them to make a film/ series using the animation and art of those cutscenes

It's confusing fr, because I remember reading last year this series was gonna follow Albert Wesker's daughters

But then seeing the trailer it doesn't look like they'll be involved at all. And Leon, Claire & Chris aren't ever mentioned in the synopsis

Yea MAL got the synopsis wrong. The story following Weskers daughters is for the live action series, which will be on Netflix too

Aww that sucks. It really do look amazing. Sad I would be missing this. Might watch a walkthrough of the series in the future.

What are you talking about this fits the definition of anime both literally and figuratively I mean this is made by an Japanese studio

it does fit within anime definition. But ut is more fall under 3D, Chinese animation or Video Game type animation.

For me it just don't feel like anime. It's just personal preference as I am more on 2D usually anime style.
