All the time when things go south he can just tell someone and restart, it's so dumb. Another example - when he gets tied up and winds up to bite his tongue instead of just telling Garfiel about his secret and dying.

Just can't take it seriously when he has such a convenient, effective way to die on command, and he doesn't use it when he needs to.

in season 1 Emilia literally dies when Subaru tells her. That was a big moment too, its not something you just forget.

Also, if you watched the entire season 2 you would know that thre world lines actually continue if subaru dies. Subaru is the only one restarting, no one else.
He wouldn't just say: "Aight, time to die" without feeling bad for it.

Please, either drop this anime or pay attention since those "plotholes" weren't plotholes.
