idk wtf that rabbit was saying at the end or why uncle li reacted that way

i guess i was wrong the previous episode. people weren't trying to kill the mc, they were scheming up ways to get their female relatives to marry him? and that's why the girl was acting weird, because her family wanted her to marry mc, but she thinks she's unworthy and the only thing she has to offer mc is her family's money, just like all those other marriage chasing people?
