| So I didn’t see a specific chapter/volume discussion for this, so I just made this thread to vent my feelings about this book. Overall , I felt like it was a solid YA series. I didn’t find it hugely complicated or complex but I felt like it set out to do what it wanted and did it fairly well. I also liked the ending. I’m glad that Elin wasn’t able to solve the root problems plaguing humanity but little by little, there’s still hope left in that world. I do wish characters like Rolan got a little more spotlight and I hugely enjoyed the parts about Elin’s and Ialu’s relationship, so I wish the author spent a little more time on that. I have mixed feelings about Jesse but overall he’s alright. |
| This is a fascinating series with a good moral, and "The Beast Warrior" even improves upon the original. I'm surprised the book's rating is only 7.53 given the anime's inflated score. Jeh is an idiot. |
