----------------------------------------
A 5 year time skip and it looks like Rio learned quite a lot since his days at the academy. Same with a lot of the other students.

It looks like their field exercised turned into a battlefield against those monsters. It doesn't seem like the cast's personalities have changed much since all this time. Celia still seems very attached to Rio.

Celia is proving herself to be quite the capable magic teacher, putting everyone in their places. And as always, the nobles just can't stop criticizing Rio for every single nook and cranny, which is just a societal issue altogether.

The outdoor exercise, and it's no surprise that Rio is treated as such like a support lackey, even if Flora wants to engage help to him. When it comes to the crunch with the same enemy targeting Rio, these growing kids have no idea of the danger impending...and as expected, this show tries to pull a SAO or DanMachi with the minotaur, and that Kirito or Bell Cranel Rio comes to the rescue as intended (if you know what I'm inferring).

Even the school itself is scum for trying to pin the blame on Rio for all things considered, with or without proof, now between families. Rio himself knows it fully well, and is powerless against these false accusations, and tries his best to survive to the fullest. Time to leave the academy and find his birthplace of the Yakumo Region. Definitely felt like a parting between lovers, not just between teacher and student.

An easier episode to stomach, that's for sure, this is my kind of pacing. Now then, is where Rio's journey truly starts...starting with the assassin wolf girl Latifa.

I really like how this ep is so NOT fast-paced when I compared it to other animation of other isekai like Kenja no Mago but a bit slow about 5-15% when casting the skills from their rings (yes, the physical enhancement). I also noticed how slow the animation when Rio saved that princess Flora but I don't dislike it, on the contrary. That kind of slow but precise animation was good to really get the feeling of casting something instead of an instant cast without any animation and the lack of the action really makes the animation boring as well (why even skip the action scenes in an animation?), fully animating the action scenes behind every move is also good to see in this episode.

Additionally, not one supporting characters are skipped here (as far as I know of) making it really intriguing to watch. The only thing that needs emphasis for me was the way Rio was ridiculed earlier was a bit too low toned or maybe the story isn't really that kind of hate and revenge ? I'm really looking forward for more this next week.

P.S. More Celia please! Oh, Celia is so cute in the flashback at the end... >.<

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

First of all, why isn't there an adult accompanying them? Even if it is safe, there should always be an adult supervising them, they're still 12 y.o... .-.

And that little push he gives to Flora, don't exaggerate it that much man, she even looks like Neymar throwing himself all over the field...

At least he left that school, so he'll live more adventures I guess 0.0
At the end we can take a closer look at the third victim of our Rio, he is a machine, he doesn't stop 😂

Feel slightly confused at the time skips still but past that it's still fairly mediocre yet enjoyable in a turn-your brain off kind of way, though slightly cliche. Celia seems mad broken with her magic even though she's only a few years older lol. What would complete a fantasy isekai other than a big eared slave girl?

Looks like Rio still can't catch a break with all those false accusations. Poor kid. Those kids really need some teachings. At least, Flora thinks cares about him. Others are just trash. But, boy Rio is really strong. He defeated the monster really easily.

Rio is going back to Yagumo region and the nobility is trying to blame Rio for all the commotion that happened. How horrible. Celia Sensei is the best girl for now.

Yeah of course Rio is still bullied by the boys and extremely popular with the girls, that attack on monster was though but it's proof that Rio is actually OP (obviously) with his powers, well he has still people against him but now he's finally moving somewhere else, and next time we'll get Latifa's appearance, it will definitely get more interesting now that he's leaving the academy, at least for the "travel" alone with all the different settings

Decent episode again. I find this anime average in several ways so far.

I don't understand why Rio doesn't want to tell people he can use "magic". He'd certainly be more respected if he did.

After saving Flora, twice, I was hoping it'd be the "rise" of Rio's reputation, but of course it had the opposite effect, right? Saving the kingdom's princess 3 times and having her say she owes him her life doesn't matter at all compared to him being a commoner, right?

Celia's goodbye was very abrupt and felt pretty forced. I also think it's way too soon for it too happen. I guess the time skip really had a bad effect, since I'm starting to understand how it might feel too fast-paced.

Combat is okay, sometimes it feels good, sometimes it's just a repetition of the same 10 frames several times. Magic in this show is pretty generic too, I'd say.

I can't say I'm particularly looking forward to the next episode but I'll continue watching it in case it gets better.

The two signature asshole nobles. Alphonse and Stewart. its kind of sad that Rio still can't catch a break with all those false accusations thrown by the two signature asshole and its unfortunate that he wont be able to graduate but i guess hes gonna have an adventure now instead of school.

Thank god Rio left. That place was so toxic beyond repair.

I kind of hope we never see those "noble" jerks again but Celia just HAD to allude he'll return one day (please Rio, just stay away or....maybe if you do go back "teach em a lesson"....well the latter is my wishful thinking)

Am I missing something? How can Rio be accused of whatever they want to charge him with. Isn't Flora a clear witness. And won't her testimony will have much more weight as she is not only directly involved but also the princess of the monarchy.

You see the Royal Family on Beltrum is still weak that a Coup d'état from a well known family like Huguenot & Arbor can overthrown them. So sacrificing Rio is the only logical thing they can do to not upset those nobles, also it have more explanation on the Novel.

Charging a commoner (Rio) is not coup d'etat.

You see if they blame Huguenot Family, it will cause an uproar on Noble Society, and they will cause a Coup d'état. Since the King is not that powerful he choose to turn a blind eye on that and sacrifice Rio.

Well same noble accusing shit like any other isekai anime. They're getting pretty annoyed (hopefully someone pays them back).
Anyway, seems like the wizard guy is testing Rio. Maybe trying to use him for something later.
The new girl, Latifa.. she will probably become his friend after Rio defeats her lol xD

good ep

This is Tate no Yuusha again only with 12 years old kids. I am all for harem but defamation is a big no for my kind of anime.

Might drop this if they keep the defamation until 80% of the season.

I would **** myself if Kirito, oh sorry Rio would use "starburst stream" in that battle versus the Minotaur.

Besides that nothing special, your standard episode where the nobles are egocentrics shits, but harem is starting right here, current size = 1 (maybe 2).

I don't care much about most of the things that happened in this episode, cause most nobility in this anime make my eyes bleed, but god damn it Celia, GO AFTER HIM!! She's so cute and adorable and I hate to see her cry. Hope they are separated for only a short time and not for many years or something.

Seems they are sending a very deadly force after Rio. Can't wait to see a new Raphtalia loli!

This episode is probably The Movie Low Point. It's the part where the boxer gets beat to a pulp...... the part where the only surviving cavalry man is kicked outside the fort and his sword is broken branding him a coward......yeah.....it's that kind of part. Meanwhile the series villains are the entitled nobility just being ... well....nobility. We can hate them since they never seem to have personality revelations.

I did like this episode since I find the MC so refreshing! Never a complaint .... he just motors down the road of life being mature and helpful. Even the bit players are pretty interesting..... just mostly spineless....but not too bad.

On the other hand, here comes the Evil Family with nefarious plans. Instead of the usual cry of Release the Hounds, we get Release the Fox Girl! That made me laugh a lot. I shall now endeavor to use that in my daily life .....Release the Fox Girls!! LOL

So... question. Rio uses his superior Japanese kendo instead of their sword techniques. He uses his fantasy Japan spirit magic instead of even the basic magic skills. He never grew in status with the nobility. What did he actually get out of this school he bargained for? Seems like the only things he grew over the time skips were his height and his harem.

I normally don't say this, but this show it's so bad, that it's actually good, at least to laugh at such overused tropes of nobles stomping plebeyans with no actual evidence, acting as terrible cartoonish mustache twirling villians.

Can't wait what Kirito Jr will do next episode to come out flawlessly in battle against the loli assassin that will obviously join his harem.

I can't really stand the way they are portraying these prejudiced noble kids. Pretty annoying to watch and of course they'll just try to blame him for everything.

The animation in the fight sequences was pretty terrible.

Finally, some girls of the nobility are gaining some brains, thanks to love but anyways xD Glad that at least Flora is the one standing for him, even tho that it's all in vain (by now). Also, for sure she remembers clearly that he saved her.

Celia should have accompanied him if she really likes him that much.

Now i am very interested in his journey, and Latifa for sure will join him so, can't wait when they will rekt those guys.
