I know there’s another Chapter 72 thread that’s a poll but I specifically wanted to talk about something.

So we know from the chapter that in the Library scene Arima finally revealed his dark self, in a sense, and then had (most likely not consensual) sex with Yukino. It shows afterwards at nighttime Yukino wakes up from a dream where she’s standing by the beach and you see the text that says “mommy”. When she wakes up, she holds her stomach as if that was the moment she knew she was pregnant.

My question is do you guys think this dream sequence happened on the same day, or days after her “sex” with Arima? I’m wondering if the two already had sex prior to the Library scene and she intuitively learned she was pregnant? I was always confused with the timeline of this chapter because obviously it takes about two weeks to find out a person is pregnant after conceiving.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

The timeline is not made completely clear. They do have sex in the library and they also did a few times before, so I guess it's either that a lot of time passes between the following scenes or she got pregnant at an earlier point.
