Donno if the author is going this way intentionally and has no writing freedom, or if he's being forced to by the corporation so they can milk the girl characters further. Anyyway, he has subtly complained about the industry and it's practices before in other novels so make of that what you will. It seems like you have yet read the article whose link I attached, but yeah, I'm not sure whether it is a sequel or just her perspective from the original series. It feels like the milking will be there, like you said, though. |
