I don't know if I'm missing something but this one was actually kinda nice. The husband gets to come back every year to see his wife and stuff again.
Not really bad for him either, I mean he probably acts like he's not dead at first. Then he probably freaks out a couple times realizing he's dead. Then he accepts it chills with his wife a couple more times and then it goes.

This one was nice to see as 99% of Yamishibai stories end in the person getting fucked. But over all damn that was boring.

Oh last thing! The daughter said that the mom is the only one that can see him and that's probably because that was the closest person too him. So was the mom foreshadowing her own death, and saying maybe the daughter will be able to find out next year.....since the mom was old and stuff?

Probably the most wholesome episode of Yamishibai. I thought at the end anyone of the two would get rekt but nothing happened.

What a strange episode.

Not really sure what happened, like did his death caused him to somehow repeat the day and come back to visit every once in a while? and that silhouette that looked like a cow was some kind of angel of death? I have no idea.

it was an ok episode, I guess.

It was an okay episode, i guess Yami Shibai is trying to fit some nice episodes other than horror this time?

That was a bit sad, though still somewhat wholesome.

This has to be the most 'wholesome' episode? Is that even a thing in the Yami Shibai series? lol

Touching episode.
"Manga readers are annoying, all they do is complain or spoil the anime we discuss in an anime forum.
They should really do their whining at manga forums.

Finally, Yami Shibai has gone back to its roots, I guess.

This was a very nice and emotional episode.

Ultimately I ended up rather liking this one but there are some things I don't quite get which I'll chalk up to my cultural ignorance. I know about the Obon festival, that's showed up in enough anime for me to understand the gist, but I don't really get the significance of a man being at the door for day one, then an Ox for the next two.

That aside, quite enjoyed this episode. Having legitimately sweet episodes are pretty nice and I'm continuously happy that since season 5, Yami Shibai has started to experiment with different episodes. Back then, it just meant having an episode where people survive, which is highly important because if ever episode ends with death then the episodes start losing their tension cause we all know what's going to happen.

But to have an episode like this which is basically just the sweetest thing ever, that's pretty surprising. It's a nice change of pace.

This one wasn't scary at all. It was rather emotional.
If you are going to disagree with me, don't bother talking to me. I will seriously hurt you!
