Hard to say exactly what would happen but I think Mob would be different. He wouldn’t have had that interaction with reigen when he was younger. Mob might’ve become more isolated since no one would’ve told him his esp powers are just a characteristic of what makes him human.

He wouldn't even be close to be as compelling as he actually is. Reigen's whole point is the duality between the adult Mob wishes to become and being generally considered a failure and a fraud by Society

He would have been more like a moral support than an actual pillar on the life of mob, he probably would be a friend on the occult club that also make "exorcism " to try to prove that occultism exist,he would try to like distract shigeo from everything and they would grow up together as persons(maybe the big scandal of Reigen being just a rumour on the school). It would be interesting tho,but I prefer him as the old experimented man who try to help mob (and also gain ¥¥¥ ofc)
