| Not really a second season but most definitely it was planned to be a 2-cour series from the beginning because they (Purposely) left several things unanswered but it was more “show don’t tell” with the whole mini arc completely skipped to keep you excited with the upcoming arcs. If it was a second half planned from the beginning, then it would make sense why we have a second season immediately announced. Yes, it’s very popular (The LNs and Anime is being well received) It was very successful (Faithful adaptation) that hopefully transfers to increase in book sales and BD/DVD. |

| Cant clearly say if its a cour 2 or directly a second season. But it definitely was planned during season 1 production. If they didnt, they would've been highly criticized for making this good show into a piece of crap by not properly telling the heroes' part of the story. I am very excited to see how they will adopt this story in season 2. Season 1 was very enjoyable and i really liked the art and animation style. Feels like the studio worked really hard and everyone gave their 200% for this show |
