Is it Aisha or the Japanese girl with black hair near the end? If it's Aisha then why did the Japanese girl remind MC of his childhood friend as well and vice-versa? And doesn't she already have a boyfriend? The blonde character that she was with in the flashbacks. I don't get why the MC is still stuck-up on her.

miharu (the japanese girl) is the childhood friend, and aishia is his contracted spirit.
And she doesn't have a boyfriend the MC misunderstood when he saw her again years later.
I guess there will be a link between aishia and miharu, cause aisha doesn't remember who she was, but that is just my theory

I hope so too but not because it's good or bad. The cliffhanger is just such a big fat middle finger that gives a sense of false hope for a sequel, lol.
