Anyone else Not like the (Constantly Screaming) Manager?

I Know Alot of people won't like this post and a Lot of people may get toxic, but was there anyone else who didn't Like Tatsumi (The Manager dude for franchouchou). Like I Loved all the Girl Charecters but he was always Yelling and screaming and just, quite frankly, being Annoying (imo). I didn't really care for that in the first season but In the second season I started noticing they tried making the viewers like him more and they put more emphasis On him, especially with the Way he cried at the end when the whole Team was Successful at their Huge concert and that whole Scene with Sakura and Tatsumi. That's what got me a bit upset because they could have showed his more soft side In those scenes and that could have made me like him more, but in each of those scenes he just Yells Kinda Like a tsundere, to hide his emotions. And It's not that I necessarily Don't like tsundere, in fact some of my Favorite Charecters are Tsunderes however I just didn't Like him (But if you do like him that makes total sense, my opinion is pretty unpopular I would assume so I hope it doesn't bother the fan base). He would also Always Yell at Sakura and I know He knew her when she was alive and likley liked her and all that, But sometimes it just kinda bothered me. At times I would be Hoping that she would Just stand up at one point, and smack him (that may just be a me thing...) So did Anyone else not like him and if you didn't (Or did) why, I want to get all of your guyses opinions.

I liked him, I just liked how ridiculous he is, it fits a ridiculous and fun show. But I also just love the voice actor who plays him (Japanese version) so that might be part of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You are 100% in the minority here, i started watching this show because of him. He is my favourite character in this show. Yes he is a tsudere but you can tell he loves the girls so much and he truly cares for them kind of like a big brother. I’m not someone who gets annoyed at others opinions and I can see some of your points. We all just like him because he is an idiot and his VA is amazing too. He is playing himself pretty much. There might be some people who will say mean things about your opinion so just ignore them.

Interesting view point, but I'd argue that the first season would be terribly boring without him. Also the dudes idea of saving Saga, as well as his plan for it (he wants to save Saga, even though he's been living there for 200+ years? With a zombie idol group?) makes him slightly unhinged, right?
I personally thought season 2 was more of exploring the back story. Didn't you see his softer side when they they did Yugiris backstop?

He makes the show for me, most hillarious bits of the whole show and the voice actor was incredible. You could tell he was having fun with the role and he killed it.

I’d say you’re in the minority here 😭 I’m honestly unsure how someone could finish watching the show if they didn’t like Tatsumi because of how prominent he is. Though I do agree with wanting Sakura to dish it back to him.

I'm sorry but I love him. He is a big part of why I watch the show.

BUT when I have showed my friends this show they were pretty annoyed by him so you're definitely not alone.

I honestly liked him a lot. I found him to be the comedic relief as lot of the time. Not to mention they also added a decent amount of development to him in season 2.

He's what I liked about this show. Other idol show just feel too serious and melodramatic with all that friendship stuff. Kotaro is meant to be this way.

Plus I feel like his character is somewhat a satire take to real life idol managers. I think everyone here knows how these idols are abused in real life in their working conditions.

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load.

I totally understand anyone not liking the character. If the voice actor was anyone but Mamoru (Takehito as well), I would definitely be on the fence about how much I could stand the charcter. I just love Mamoru's voice acting ....for 20 years now... and he really brought the passion playing Koutarou.
