I hope there's at least one new chapter in the manga/Webcomic so I wouldn't expect a second season in the next 10 years

Probably not, both manga and web novel have been on indefinite haiatus for quite a long time, not to mention Mappa only took on the project to get more money for chainsaw man anyways, I doubt even if they had the source material for season 2 that they’d make it

Probably but not in the near future. Amahara said that he finished the script and just waiting for coolkyoushinja to draw. Amahara estimated about 16 months for the manga to catch up

Maybe in over a decade. The anime fully caught up to the webcomic (which ended), and the remake manga is still trying to catch up and probably won’t for a while. Chances are, if it ever gets a sequel it’ll be quite a long time.
