| The official trailer of the upcoming series has been released. Super Crooks is based on the comic book series of the same name by writer Mark Millar and artist Leinil Francis Yu. The series was written by Dai Satō from Millar's story, and it was directed by Motonobu Hori in his solo directorial debut. Netflix releases the 13-episode series to stream on the 25th of November 2021. The series will also serve as a prequel to the comic, before overlapping with it in the final episodes. Netflix also announced another television series adaptation, this time a live-action, using the same Supercrooks title as the comic. So what do you guys think? I actually thought it was decent. It looks promising. I'll probably watch it when I have nothing to do, I guess. |
| Compared to some of the other Netflix anime that are coming out soon/came out recently, this definitely looks like one of the most promising. I wasn’t really expecting much, and the fact that superpowers is gonna be a main focus could either destroy the chances of it becoming good, o add to the wow factor of the final product. Premise seems kinda generic but nonetheless intriguing, I love the character designs and the animation seems very good so far. I have high hopes for this, and even if it does end up being a disappointment, I’m sure there will still be a few factors that will make watching it slightly worthwhile. |
