i notice that manga ended in 2020 while anime ended in 2005 does anime have some sort of ending(original ending) since i dont want to read manga.

Im also gonna watch this soon and apparently the anime ends on chapter 77. Idk if they skipped stuff or not, but the manga continues after the anime, and Im pretty sure it does not have an original ending. Also the manga has 22 volumes, however not all chapters have been translated to english.

Anime ends on a huge cliffhanger, but to my knowledge is more or less a faithful adaptation of the manga up to the point it got (chapter 77 I think?).
But to confirm your worries: Yes, you will feel cockblocked at the anime where there's a huge cliffhanger that basically screams "check out the manga to continue".

That said,it's an amazing series and totally still worth it.
