I just finished Medaka Box and Medaka Box Abnormal, and I have to say that I am supremely disappointed in the way this series panned out. Episode 12 “Good Loser Kumugawa” hypes the most brutal and compelling characters in the series to astronomical levels, showcasing just how much of a wack job and terrifying force Kumugawa truly is. Given that this episode is his only real screen time, the potential a 3rd season would have had with him as the central villain is so frustratingly high. It’s not that I didn’t like the first two seasons, but the arcs that were adapted clearly pale in comparison to the madness that Kumugawa would have brought to the anime. It is such a shame that there is nearly a zero percent chance a third season will ever happen. Any thoughts on if the 3rd season would have been popular, or should have been adapted, or do you think this was for the best? I could have easily seen Kumigawa becoming one of my favorite anime characters ever.

I haven't watched Medaka Box anime, but if you want more of Kumagawa, read the manga.
