| Several times throughout the anime Éclair and Lumière powers are referenced to be somewhat similar to other powers. But pretty much all of the pairing in the latest batch of ES members are based around space and time manipulation. Space: Di-air Ascoeur Trixie Time: Di-air Q-feuille Troisienne While this is probably a concious decision by Eclipse in an attempt to help Éclair and Lumière, it seems a little odd that the series seems to break their powers into the same two categories. Last time I checked there powers don't fall into those and are different on a very basic level. Lumière's power is 'Particle' which allowed her control matter at the subatomic level. Éclair's power is 'Power' which is never fully explained but its suggested that it can control or transfer energy at the atomic level. There is only one other G class ability and that is 'Quantum' which belonged to Eclipse. So basically, where do these new powers fall into? Are they the same powers as the originals with a different spin on them? Or is this just a none cannon way of dumbing down the abilities for this series? What do you guys think? |
