The anime adapts Chapter 23-27 and 6 pages into Chapter 28.

-Jinguji stops a bunch of people from crowding Tachibana after the Goddess of Night takes off his jacket.

-The anime depicts a bunch of fantastical weapons that Tachibana would want to use.

- Author complains about living apart from her husband/manga artist during covid 19. Also wishes that the manga makes the readers laugh.

-The anime adds a visual for "Doom. Doom. Doom....."

- Author suggests finding an alternative V-tuber to oppose her husband's "virtual affair".

-The previous episode cut a joke about Schwartz being resistant to poisons. So the anime implies that Tachibana would have an ordinary person taste-test poison for her. Brutal.

-Tachibana mentions his and Jinguuji's terrible work life- including constant scoldings from his boss and the smelly toilet. Except only Tachibana got scolded from the boss.

-Author likes characters that suffer, and wants her characters to suffer.

-The anime adds fun facts about the crocodile-dog that pulls the carriages. Friendly with people. Not carnivorous. Eaten at the end of its lifespan.

- Manga: the questionionare asks "What will you be doing at 60 years old?". Tachibana answers "Dead."

-The anime depicts Tachibana pulling Jinguuji off a hat to convey Jinguuji being a "useful tool".

-Manga: Tachibana's sign is Cancer, and his favorite subject is Physical Education.

- Anime: Jinguuji's birthday is January 5th, 1989. His sign is Capricorn, and his favorite subject is Math. He also said he would bring a knife to an uninhabited island. (I had to translate this myself using Jisho and Image translations).

Btw, Capricorns and Cancers are highly compatible star signs and make for great couples lmaooooo. The characters' personalities indeed match their star signs.

-The squid mascot makes a squid pun - "don't squid-ble! I mean squabble!"

- Author enjoys putting soy sauce on grilled squid. Appreciates slightly burnt aroma.

-In the manga, Jinguuji apologizes for scribbling on the graduation book, and says he should have done it with an oil-based marker instead.

-The anime adds a visual of Tachibana laughing about his prank while Jinguuji panics.

-Shen, the merchant character, complains about the job being boring. We also see his crocodile-dog escaping in the anime.

-The anime adds a visual of Jinguuji being calmed by the herb.

- Author's family knows about her manga and even buys her releases. Author feels sorry for not working on something related to social issues during the pandemic.

-The anime has a fun after-credits song for the next episode.

It's very interesting seeing the differences between the manga and anime. Thank you for making these posts!

I found it funny that the author wants the characters to suffer. I wonder what other things will happen to them.
