| Oh boy. Love at first sight. Given the preview, I'm hoping that this will have more of an affect on Shimizu than on Gorou. It's fine for him to have the crush as long as it doesn't consume too much of the show; if it pushes Shimizu to get better too, I'm all for it. I'm glad they all completed the training. | finally our coach started to get more seriously, though i don't see so much improving from the few scenes. hope that Shimizu will get better thoug. our Goro fall in love, and like other in this thread i don't love this development so much. |
| great episode, I would have run all that marathon not for koushien, not for glory but only for the chance of being in the same team as shimizu. do I smell a love triangle, braided girl sure is cool, I wonder how good she is at pitching though |

| Good to see the coach step up his game, now hoping Shimizu becomes better at playing because she's taking a lot of L's like this episode ending last in the marathon and also Goro jokingly naming that hopeless cat after her. |
