| Personally I think this show is pure kino of the highest order Besides Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Gintama season 29. Does the new series reach the same level? I don't think so because the art looks soulless. |

| Truly one of the best shows of all time and one that literally cannot be made today (they tried with the remake, wasn't the same). I think a modern anime that came close was Humanity has Declined (but unfortunately suffers from the same fate as Kino, no real sequel) |
