I finished beastars s1... and all ima say is im a little dissapointed.. beastars s1 was was focused more on hal and legoshi which made me love the series, so i had high expectations for s2... but in s2 Hal barley had any screen time, and she was the main point i kept watching the show. But instead they focused more on other things.

Well I can see your point, but I personally enjoyed season 2 more as it goes deeper into the mysteries that season 1 set up. It also develops the bond between Legosi and Louis really well imo.

No, i like season 2 more. S1 was bit into ero territory even if psychological. S2 was more ideology clashes and personal growth.

I liked season 1 more as well, I was more interested in how relationships between carnivores and herbivores work, 2nd season seemed less unique and just felt like some ordinary 7/10 kimda anime🤷‍♂️

I prefer season 2, it was more polished and straightforward, and had better actions. Based on manga my predictions are: S3 will be for character development and S4 for the finale (which is a bit disappointing)

I thought it was a spelling error had no idea the sub said Hal I only watch dubbed animes cause I can't read fast enough for the sub

I liked season one more then season 2 but season 2 is still good I just like the focus on high school life for animals that's why I loved the beast complex manga so much just need volume 2 and 3 to be translated.

I really liked Season 1 until they made a goddamn loser moron like Legoshi beat down 15 lions which are members of one of strongest gangs with his bare hands what the hell?!

They at least could be random gangstersare like I dunno; coyotes, hyenas, dingos, etc.
but nah, It had to be lions, one of strongest feline species

Season 2 was pretty shit overall so I would agree.

S1 was just the manga with an inferior artstyle but overall well made.

S2 had so many obvious errors, shitty lighting, way worse pacing because they skipped over key chapters and thus the actions of the characters make almost no sense to the viewer.

I agree season 1 was better by a lot. For me season 2's writing was all over the place, like introducing the school guard's character and then nevre seeing them again. The ending kinda felt like a letdown and quite undewhelming. In comparison season 1 had a much better story arch. Though I still endjoyed the second season as well. I hope when the final season comes out it'll tie all things together nicely.
