Nah I have to disagree with you. The show would loose some of its fun if it got too romantic. The way the romance is now is perfect as it is not too in your face.

The entire point of the show is that they are trying to preserve their heterosexuality and prevent their bromance from turning into BROMANCE, so your idea would ruin the show.

Dont worry, the most romance parts are in the next few episodes (sadly they increase the pacing from 65 to 90 pages tho), episode 9 (chapter 43-46) and episode 12 (chapter 68)

well I dont mind if they got together in the end after defeating the demon king cuz I kinda like their current relationship in the manga, they sometimes make me feel so much 🦋 imo

A good story needs articulation of the Character's back stories. To prove that tachnibana is femine enough to become best girl in the show the followings are added for Tachibana:

- Help Jinguji staple documents
- Hate seeing juniors getting scolded at work
- Speak out when seeing Jinguji cut the Elf's hair
- Not used to eating wild life (Bear and Rabbit)
- Refuse to ignore Fake Kirito
- Angry with Junguji ruinning his graduation book

Tachibana also always speak his mind directly, which makes him a Tsundere at times. This could all make their bromance easier to develop later on (if any)

The parts where Tachibana starts to act more like a girl really start with the next episode of the anime (chapter 42+) and from there happen more and more often, chapter 83 shows that really well.

The author also likes to put Tachibana in before/after Situations, for example in chapter 8 Tachibana didnt care to be seen naked, the reaction in chapter 78 was more what you would expect from a girl.

In terms of at what point Tachibana accepts to be a girl, i would put it at the halfway point of the manga, since i expect 300+ chapters total, around chapter 150 would be the earliest, so basicly shorly after the current doungon arc ends.

I mean how many romance anime have the characters get together before the end? Not that many. I don’t know for sure what’s going to happen but it’s very possible that they will end up dating.

I'm mixed on it. because like at least to me they already seem like the're in love. like they have been in love this whole time but only now they have begun to be physically attracted to each other, so now there is potential and risk of a more intimate relationship. which is tumultuous place to be emotionally.

It's a comedy dominated show. If they had focused on them getting closer romantically, it would have been to good to be true.
