Was anyone able to track down the origin of the quote or perhaps it's meaning, which is displayed in the opening of each episode? It goes like- "Because ten billion years' time is so fragile, so ephemeral...it arouses such a bittersweet, almost heartbreaking fondness"

I'm pretty sure the quote was made up for the anime. Searching it up it everyone who quotes it sites the quote to be from the anime. I couldn't tell you what the quote exactly means, but I'm pretty sure the 10 billion years part could mean that the war with involving Hellywood takes place 10 billion years in the future after Shu's time. The rest of it might be talking about how time has changed the delicate planet known as Earth for the worse. Just my theory tho.
