| Cross friends got crushed like people by titans. Like where this going after we got the the pov of the dogs. Should be a nice adventure from here where Gin gotta prove that he's a man. Manliness in 80's shounen is like bread on butter. Then you have all the platoon leaders which also feels rather tropey xD |

| John remains faithful to his owner, it was good to see that. dogs would really need a very strong reason to abandon their owners. this episode was very emotional, I almost cried in certain parts. I really liked the doberman and the female dog. |

| Silly plotline about a bear gathering up other bears, which all have names that the humans call them for some reason, to "fortify his fortress" (as said by, again, the humans), and a dog "army" fighting them. Dogs suddenly talking at the 7th episode mark which is jarring and drastically changes the tone of the show. A million shounen tropes suddenly thrown in during the 8th. The laziest drama trope of all time, an important character having amnesia, is also thrown in. Preachy nonsense about being a "real man". Why is this considered a great classic? |
