Companies have different thresholds to measure success. For example for Jump and Aniplex there is no point in making another Nisekoi because it won't boost manga sales anymore and BDs aren't selling high anymore. |

| man i just don’t get why newbie anime fans ask these type of stupid questions. it should literally be common sense that the sequel is gonna adapt the rest of the manga given that the manga is short, even then we simply do not have any more information just yet but should be blatantly obvious so i’ve no idea why ask stupid questions like these! yes they will adapt until the end there’s your answer! |

No, it wasn't close to 5toubun's success. It wasn't 7th best selling manga of the year like Quints. BD sales are no longer relevant compared to 8 years ago but 5toubun was better in those too. |
