i remember checking light novels on amazon i was kinda baffled by seeing smarthphone isekai still running with fuking 25 volumes of light novel
and it have only 1 season which cover only first 3 volumes
so i thought anime being rated so low but light novels still publishing (with so many volumes)
there's has to be some reason that author is still writing and there are people to read that as well
that's why i felt some day season 2 will surely announced
now i know what all i said is completely nonsense with no proof but still i wanted to say so wrote here

Spirit Chronicles, Gorilla Isekai, Mahouka all are trash of the highest caliber, yet somehow are getting sequels. And now this.
I wouldn't say that "inevitable", but totally expectable.

It’s mad how this year so many animes that I thought died and will never come back, they are coming back this year and not only this year but this month specifically. It’s extraordinary. And it’s official to me. April is the month of anime (Hell national anime day it’s on the 15th of April)

um there is lot of story remaining so its definitely need a second season and also sone trashy animes (not gona take name) are getting sequels so why not this. Personally I Love this anime and wanted a second season. and after the announcement of second season I guess its kind of "inevitable".

I'm actually surprised this anime actually got a second season, like really surprised!

It had a very "read the manga" ending, rushing through a lot of "and here's what happens in the future" scenes at the end. Which suggests that the authors didn't think they'd be getting another season either.

So it's a surprise to be sure, but I cannot say it's an unpleasant one.

The show is, of course, a bit of wish-fulfilment trash, but it was still a decent watch. There have been a lot worse since.

I really hope it won't get a second season.
I know the isekai theme is a nice plot and gives us a feeling of escaping reality and just having to be in another world but, I want to see new plots, setting and a good character development. It just gives the characters a unique personality unlike the mc's of (trash) isekai novels, manga, and anime.

I disagree

I liked them because they were enjoyable
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

if you see what's common in them
they have loads of volumes for example mahouka had 32 volumes
same with spirit it have 21 or something
and again what i said isekai smartphone had around 25!!
and that's the number for english translated japanese release i guess is even higher

I wouldn't call Mahouka a trash tbh. If you read the novel and ignore the incest stuff it's actually a decent read. The anime doesn't do it justice though.
