Last year we got news that a new project was being made for this show. has any news come out about the project?

Most likely gonna take some time still, I'm sure they didn't expect the success of it, especially for an original anime, and kinda just quickly announced a new anime with barely anything done at that time in response to its success.

They don't have a manga or other sources to work with so they gotta start from scratch.
