Did you enjoy this show or did the ending ruin it for you to?
| I know a lot of people feel the same way about this show as I do so here is a brain dump...(feel free to add me or msg me your thoughts) Masamune-kun no Revenge Masamune-kun no Revenge is a show about a little ugly duckling who gets rejected by his dream girl, After his rejection, he works out and when I found out that the MC develops into this magical sex demon, I had to drop everything and start watching. My Point I'll admit the beginning of the show was phenomenal. We got to see his past, his slow development into a sexy hunk, and his plan on getting revenge (which would've worked if the falling plot wasn't so f**ked). Masamune for the majority of the show acts his revenge in ways we hope he would.....and then ruins it. Like there are scenes in the show where in my head I'm like "WHAT..THE...ACTUAL...F**K". You literally never get to experience that joy you feel when the MC finally gets revenge on a cocky character because the show is deliberately on the cocky girl's side! Somewhat of a Spoiler Below Regardless, Masamune never gets his revenge and gave away his identity in the end for no reason. We never get to feel that satisfaction when the cocky girl gets a taste of her own medicine because the writers of the show are in favor of her. My Final Thoughts This show is terrible, so terrible in fact I had to write a 300+ word review on it. This show could've been fairly fun to watch if they didn't do the dumbest things to add action, like deliberately sabotaging the MC and ruining the whole plot. Only if they actually made it so that Masamune got his revenge may be ranking wouldn't be so sh*t EDIT Just found out that a season 2 has been confirmed just no one talked about it (probably for good reason) but I guess that leaves hope for a conclusion to his revenge. |

I didn't like it, show overall bored me to death, thought the idea was stupid, and ending was dumb, and whoever tried to be the mc when he was fat is retarded, and adagaki is even more stupid for thinking it was actually him, characters were uninteresting, only thing that redeems itself was uhhh, I guess the first episode was fine, idk, I just didn't hate it, was just boring as hell, with that being said, if you do like this show, I respect that, it just wasn't for me |

| The ending? Who gives a crap about that, it was fucked way earlierπ
. Don't get me wrong it had enough potential that it kept me draging myself through it, but it has got to be one of the most paint-by-numbers, low budget, generic harem anime I've ever seen - And I've seen a fair few in my timeπ π . Op is pretty nice to be fair, tho rest of the Ost is subpar. Not that I mind anyone that likes it, defo had potential, just a complete lack of passion or ambitionππ. |

| I watched the anime and gave it a good score BEFORE I read the manga. The manga is so much better than the anime, damn. There's also a big reveal in it, which is basically a major spoiler, something unexpected. Anyway, the anime skipped some scenes. And it barely like made it to like 10-25 chapters of the manga so there's still lots of material left. I believe season 3 will be the last season of this anime if it ever continues. Unless they compress the whole manga content by skipping lots of scenes and adding fillers instead like TPN season 2, then idfk. afaik there will be a season 2 coming out soon. I recommend you to either read the manga or the LN. Major spoiler (will probably end the fun for you): |
