Honestly, this could be considered a sub-par Grendizer episode. I mean, There isn't even Tetsuya, Great Mazinger's pilot!

This was a fun collaboration, and the ending shot of them both together was just right.

Nothing better than watching a nice mecha from the seventies, where action and fighting were the masters: blind fights and not the caresses or psychological dramas that are now the most popular, after the advent of NGE. The quality of the drawings is excellent, considering the age of the film, and the soundtrack is really beautiful. The plot is nothing elaborate, but very linear, but that does not mean that all this has to be a flaw. I am happy to have seen this film again after so many years.
