Is Hachiman a Buddhist?

Just curious was there a point in the Light Novel, where Hachiman mentioned he was into Buddhism. I just read it on the wiki and got curious on how would it factor in his characterization, since it said he likes it due to it being similar to his ideals (at least his self-deprecating ideals early on), which reminded on how an edgy teen uses atheism to act smart.

So was it mentioned and does he still believe in it? I haven't read the Ln, I only watched the anime
