If you can look past the rape scenes it's actually pretty fun. I mean, it is stupid but it's not as horrible as everyone says it is. I personally tried to watch it 3 times lol and dropped it twice cuz I hate rape scenes. On the third time though I ignored those scenes and well, it was okay

Being completely honest, the story wasn’t even that bad. His revenge was justified, and it was cool seeing him take over everything. Yes it is weird bc they have a r*pe or sex scene every ep, which feels unnecessary, but the plot wasn’t even bad. 6.5/10

In my opinion, it started off strong. Once you get used to the fun time scenes, it had an interesting worldbuilding. But I wasn't much a fan of the last few episodes.

I’m not voting… never saw a single anime on that poll but honestly, it’s different form of storytelling and a different take on violence that you might not feel comfortable with. Personality, everything still lines up but is carried by the main character and unless you empathize with him you’re not going to enjoy this.

To me, this series is very reminiscent of the ultra-violent and sexual OVAs of the 80s and 90s. Schlock like Violence Jack, Apocalypse Zero, and M.D. Geist. The only thing this series is missing is a terrible English dub to go along with it (which I'm so disappointed the English release didn't capitalize on). A lot of the stuff that happens in this series is so stupid and/or grim-dark that I end up laughing at it.

Really depends on your tolerances tbh. Imo the story is pretty mid, will watch season 2 if it comes out to see where it goes tho
