| I tried to get through the RAW of the first chapter, but my Japanese is still pretty limited, so I gave up after 2 or 3 pages. Has anyone translated this, or has anyone said that they will translate it? |

| Oh shit, this is a whole different kind of darkness than Higurashi and Umineko. Looks like Ryukishi07 is possibly breaking out of his usual storytelling. He didn't even follow the usual 'calm before the storm with hint of tragedy' start his works usually have and slapped us right in the face with some really sick stuff. Great start. Also, can a mod please fix the status of this? It's still set on not publishing. |

| I didn't realise how similar the title was to "... no Naku Koro ni" until I said it out loud. Ryukishi, thy name is troll. Also, if I don't like this, at least there's no-one to tell me the VN's better. (Not that i've had such an experience, but i've heard it said way too many times.) I'm not a fan of his, so i'm going into this skeptical and probably going to be overly-critical, but hereee goes. Also i'm writing this as I read it. More ecchi than I imagined. Like, I know it's rape and supposed to be creepy instead of sexy, and yeah it IS, obviously, but it still FEELS like fanservice. I dunno. Maybe the artist is a sadist. XD The art's fairly good, though, but nothing special. Chubby legs though. Oh, ew, the way she described it. I don't know if I can read this. It feels a bit overkill, if you ask me. Bullied by EVERYONE, molested by the only person who sticks up for her, etc etc. I'm a bit like "oh, come on." HOLY FUCK THE NURSE'S BOOBS LOLOL. That was unepected. Ugh, why give a minor character gag boobs in a serious horror story? Ok, she's probably supposed to be comic relief, but something serious has just happened and now I can't take it seriously because of THOSE BOOBS. It's really badly executed Mood Whiplash imo. ...yeah I can't read this. Sorry. I feel a bit bad about this, but i'm going to have to drop this. It makes me feel too uncomfortable. I may or may not read the next chapter, but for now i'm setting it as dropped. |
| Hmm.. that was quite creepy. I do find the art quite messy especially when they were bullying her. Anyway, since it's Ryukishi here.. I gonna give this a chance. I was not really that interested. |
| yeah i was waiting for this to begin publishing and knowing Ryukishis works and how they begin i was prepared for lighthearted comedy at the begining so seeing what it turned out almost shocked me. its really really dark More ecchi than I imagined. I actually would have liked this. It's darker than the author's previous works which were dark to begin with but the problem is, the art is just so ugly and unappealing. yeah i thought that too at the begining the art isnt anything special in general.. but some panels can be really pretty |

Yeah, I figured that was probably just me, lol. But there were other times when it WAS ecchi, like random shots of her ass and the stupid nurse with her stupid pointless gag boobs. It cheapened the whole thing...although I think it was mostly cheap, pointless nastiness anyway just to try and get a reaction out of the audience... |

I haven't see enought of this manga yet. Everyone says they waited a calm beginning, but well, everything Ryukishi writed was VN's. This is the first manga for Ryukishi (sorry, I'm won't accept higurashi or umineko since the VN's were earlier, and you already knew what to expect), and since chapters are shorter than an episode of a visual novel, it ended up having a lot faster pace. Knowing Ryukishi, I expect this to be a story about happyness or something like that (Higurashi->Friendship, Umineko->Love... so what's next? After seeing this first chapter, I think the search of happyness is the key xD). I think the art is a little disturbing sometimes, and the artist (Tsunohazu Ichihou) is a little strange... But it's great how it gets you that feeling of uneasyness xD. By the way, I'm the only one who thinks that the girl in the "no" of the tittle looks a lot like Bernkastel? (Ok, I know she is the doll, but that's what I thought at first xD) |

This is the first manga for Ryukishi (sorry, I'm won't accept higurashi or umineko since the VN's were earlier, and you already knew what to expect), and since chapters are shorter than an episode of a visual novel, it ended up having a lot faster pace. um...you know both Higurashi and Umineko have manga adaptations with pretty calm begining chapters so saying this one begins with drama because its manga is kinda....doesnt make sense.... whatever.... | I don't think that it was 'darker' persay, but honestly? I think it's... weirder. The setting is not very similar to Higurashi or Umineko, so if we get cameo's in this, it'll be fun... but. Hm... exciting, that's all I have to say. I'll have to read and read to find out! |
