Tsukino said that Yuuichi made Kuroki think rock wasn't an option so that he would neither loose nor end up with a tie.
But if kuroki did end up throwing rock , then Yuuichi would have only lost how would it be a tie as she said ?
Did I miss smth or what ?

Yuuichi said, that with his bandaged hand he can only throw rock or paper, which will give Kuroki 50% chance to win and 50% to tie if he throws paper.
With that he manipulated Kuroki into believing, that he will use that bandaged hand for sure, so he thought he has absolutely no reason to throw anything else than a paper.
But nowhere anyone agreed which hand must be used, so Yuuichi threw a scissors with his left hand, not violating any rules.

It's Yuuichi Manipulation
1. He only can use paper or rock with that hand
2. He will not use papers
3. Kuroki won't use rock (tie)
4. Kuroki definitely will use paper because there are no probability to lose (win or tie)

Then yuuichi use the other hand...

You didn't miss anything.
Hypothetically speaking, if Kuroki didn't fall for the traps, he would have been clearly able to win by throwing a Rock.
In fact, a dumb, weak and cowardice opponent as he is, he fell for Yuuichi's manipulation.
Notice things carefully, you can see Yuuichi has been slowly building up pressure on Kuroki to erase the choice of Rock in his mind.
1. Greed. Using 10M to bait Kuroki into the game.
2. Rules, first pressure. Kuroki's fingers will be amputated if he loses, based on what he throws. It's 10M vs your own fingers now and Rock is risk-free.
3. False sense of relief. Yuuichi showed his right hand that can only throw Rock or Paper, making Kuroki (Currently on the fence) have a vague idea of an imaginative advantage.
4. Feint. Yuuichi quickly followed up by pretending to start the game immediately with his right hand. This strenghthened the implanted false advantage in Kuroki's mind.
5. Provocation. This is where tension kicked in by Kuroki's gang members and his own arrogance. At this point, Kuroki was hooked, both into the game and the traps.
6. Distorted sense of comfort. Now it's time to reveal the consequence if a tie happens. It made Kuroki think that Yuuichi's aim was a tie and basically at this point, the choice of Rock in Kuroki's mind was already erased.
7. Greed kicked in. Now it's Scissors or Paper and Kuroki wanted to win. At this point, it's win or tie with Paper, win or lose with Scissors.
8. Continous pressure. Yuuichi pressed Kuroki further by provocation and reading his Paper choice out loud while quickly started the game by using his wounded right hand, and this is a key factor. Clearly Kuroki didn't have room to reconsider and was trapped in his previous self-logics. "Nope, I won't use Paper" is just a final trap to make sure greed factor does it job.
So, it's all about timing, gesture and preparation.

yes you missed the whole point . yuichii said he can't throw scissors showing his right hand indicating his injuries. meaning he would throw either paper or rock, if he used rock then it would either be a tie or yuiichi would win even tho he won't lose any fingers. if he used scissor then it would be a 50/50 . if he used paper then he either wins or ties. then yuichii outsmarted him by using his other hand.

By declaring he can only use paper and stone, Yuuichi basically flipped the risk-reward ratio and manipulated Kuroki.

In Kuroki’s POV:

Paper: No risk, high reward (Win or Tie)
Scissors: High risk, high reward (Win or Lose 2 fingers)
Stone: No risk, no reward (Lose or tie)

In actual scenario:

Paper: High risk, high reward (Win or Lose 5 fingers)
Scissors: Medium risk, high reward (Win or Lose 2 fingers)
Stone: No risk, high reward (Win or Lose)

Basically greed. Stone wasn’t an option for him because there’s no reward at all.
Truth is absolute but human perception of truth is always relative.
