Those scenes in the trailer are coming from the original RWBY trailers (Red, White, Black and Yello) and the original show.
I guess the new stuff should start after 4 weeks with episode 4.

when does it air?? it says the first 3 episodes will be on 24-26, but I'm not seeing it added anywhere. what tie are talking here? I'm use to shows aring in the morning so came home from work all hyped and ready .

It’s premiering on rooster teeths website I think a few days before anywhere else. Should be on crunchyroll later
