You're right, the anime screwed up even the ending of the season, not just the beginning and middle part!
Kizuna in episode 12 said that this is an artificial wave, and the only way to stop it is to defeat Kyo.
So the 3 heroes couldn't have stopped it, and they're supposed to be to be missing again.
This change will screw up season 3...

But that is the thing: they are supposed to be on the run. It's a major, MAJOR consequence that comes from the Spirit Turtle Arc.

They DON'T own up to their mistakes.

Not only this change, Naofumi winning the lands of Raphatalia was something advanced by the anime, because vol 10 narrates Naofumi rebuilding the city of Raph, I believe this is why the three heroes don't escape.The writers will make a silly excuse that they ran away during their adventures.writters couldn't create their own script holes either, because in ep 1 of S2, the three heroes say they only solve problems with waves. So if there was also a wave in Raphatalia's world during Naofumi being in Kizuna's world, automatically, the three heroes are teleported into this wave to fight it.

Is there anything stopping the heroes from walking away when they are teleported to a wave?

The 3 heroes could be teleported to a wave, and just walk away like nothing happened?

Wasn’t she saying their wave was an artificial wave? Not Naofumis world as he didn’t even know there was a wave in his world

Waves connect worlds. It's happening in both worlds at the same time. In the LN the 3 heroes were not fighting and the wave ended by Kyo's defeat.

Do you think that only the three heroes are the only ones to face the waves? The army also fights the waves. It would be an oversight of the Queen not to eliminate these phenomena along with the cardinal heroes. And another, Naofumi becoming a viscount is not another advanced change in the anime (I don't remember). And I have a theory: will Naofumi become a viscount, will the three heroes not feel jealous and have to flee the kingdom? Tell me, LN readers, please...

ahhhh got it! I remembered that the heroes went to face the turtle alone in the manga (I don't read the Light Novel). So if my theory is right, the third season won't be spoiled at least if the writers emphasize these details, unlike S2 which was ignored several contents...thanks!
