| Maybe they believed that the drop of the first 3 episodes was something different from the show or something, But it doesn't make sense anyway. This is an TV show that will air weekly, it's not an ONA, it's not a special, this change surely was an error that I hope it will be corrected. |

| I was wondering that myself just today, actually. At the beginning of the Summer Season a couple days ago. RWBY was definitely listed as a Summer 2022 TV Seasonal because I have the new about me stuff on and it was in “watching this season” That means that someone has since manually changed it from that to Spring 2022 Special. I’m not sure 100% what the definition MAL uses for special is, but I checked up on the show and it looks like RWBY is still airing on TV, specifically on Tokyo MX1. It’s broadcast wasn’t changed like I thought might’ve happened to prompt the switch. Same broadcast time as what was previously listed on the MAL page too. I’m not sure why the change was made, there doesn’t seem to be a reason for it. Unless the fact they streamed in advance impacts it? |

Unless I’m just being blind, it doesn’t look like you can request changes to type as a user. Like with genre / themes it’s not on the list. |
